About the Art

1. What kind of art do you sell?

Original handmade paintings from native artists and sculptures in the form of statues in stone, brass and fiber are made available for sale in this website.

2. Can I find information about the inspiration or story behind the artwork?

We include artist statements within the artwork listing that provide insight into their creative process or the meaning behind the piece.

3. What is the price range of your artwork?

The price range of our artwork suits a variety of budgets. You can refine your search by price on our website.

4. Can you tell me more about the size and medium of a specific artwork?

Absolutely! Each artwork listing will include detailed information about the size (dimensions), medium (e.g., oil on canvas, bronze), and any other relevant details about the materials used.

5. How can I learn more about the artists you represent?

In product details, click on the ‘Artist name’ and a new window opens with information on background and artistic style of the artist

6. Is there a way to see the artwork in person before I buy it?

Unfortunately, we primarily sell artwork online. However, we provide high-quality images from multiple angles to give you a good sense of the piece. 

7. Do you offer any certificates of authenticity?

Yes, for original artwork we sell, a certificate of authenticity will be included with your purchase. This document verifies the artwork's origin and legitimacy.

8. How to navigate through the website to search the product?

When you logon to our website, you will find the menus on the header section. Our products are mainly classified into two categories viz, Paintings and Sculptures. Sub-categories or Art Types like Gond painting, Warli painting etc, are grouped under sub menus. Click on any category and sub-category to view all the products. Alternately you can select product sub-category directly from the footer section.

The products are also displayed on the home page. You can browse and click on any product to view the details.

9. How to search individual product?

On the top, right above the header section ‘search’ option is available. Enter the word or product you are looking for. For example, when you enter ‘Gond’, all the products under Gond sub-category will be displayed. Browse through them and click on the relevant product to view the details.

10. Do you sell originals or prints?

Presently we are offering  originals only. When we offer prints , each artwork listing will clearly specify what you are purchasing (originals, limited edition prints, open edition prints, etc).

11. Can the products be made customizable?

Absolutely Yes! We can customize paintings and sculptures according to your required sizes. Please refer our ‘Art Customisation’ page for details.

Ordering and Payment

1. How do I place an order?

Placing an order is easy! Browse our collections, add your desired artwork to your cart, and follow the checkout process.

2. Can I change or cancel my order once it's placed?

We process orders quickly, so changes may not always be possible. Please see the Refund and Cancellation page for more details.

3. What happens if I don't receive an order confirmation email?

Please check your spam folder first. If you still cannot locate the email, contact us at [your email address] and we'll be happy to help.

4. What payment methods do you accept?

The payment gateway Razorpay accepts payments through debit, credit card issued by Amex, MasterCard, Mastro, Rupay and through UPI

5. Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely! We use industry-standard encryption (SSL) to protect your credit card information during checkout.

6. Do you accept international credit cards?

Yes, we accept international credit cards.

7. Why was my payment declined?

There could be a few reasons for a declined payment. Please check with your bank to ensure there are no sufficient funds or authorization issues. You can also try using a different payment method.

8. Will I receive confirmation of my order?

Yes. You will receive an email confirmation with your order details shortly after placing your order. you can also track your order using our website under account there is order section from there you can track your whole order history.

9. How safe is it to use bank debit or credit cards?

This site has a verified SSL certificate to protect the data encrypted while transfer. Further, the payment gateway Razorpay and  Stripe also use SSL certificate, are secure enough to protect your card details.

10. Do I have to create an account to make purchases?

Yes, you need to create an account to make any purchases. You can create your profile using a user Id and password. You can add your billing address and shipping address along with contact details.

11. Through which courier companies you send the paintings?

We ship through DHL, Bluedart, Safexpress and if the PIN code area is not serviceable then through Speed Post. International shipments will be sent through DHL courier.

12. Do you have offerings for corporates and bulk orders?
Yes, we do offer options for corporates and bulk orders. Please contact us for a quote and to discuss your specific needs.

Art Care

1. How do I display my artwork to prevent fading?

Keep your art out of direct sunlight. UV rays can cause significant fading over time.

2. Where should I hang my artwork?

Choose a location with moderate temperature and humidity levels (ideally 65-75°F and 40-55% humidity). Avoid hanging art near heat sources, vents, or kitchens where humidity levels can fluctuate.

3. How do I clean my artwork?

 In most cases, dusting with a soft, dry microfiber cloth is sufficient. Never use cleaning products or water directly on the artwork. If your artwork requires more specialized cleaning, consult a professional conservator.

4. What if my artwork gets damaged?

For minor tears, punctures, or loose threads, contact a professional art conservator for an assessment and proper repair. Don't attempt to fix it yourself, as this could cause further damage.

5. How do I store artwork I'm not displaying?

 Store your artwork in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use acid-free tissue paper or archival-quality materials to wrap the artwork for protection.

6. When should I consult a professional conservator?

 If your artwork has sustained significant damage, or you notice any concerning signs of deterioration, consult a professional art conservator for proper restoration or preservation techniques.

7. How do I care for sculptures?

Dust your sculpture gently with a soft brush or microfiber cloth. For some materials, a damp cloth may be appropriate, but always check with a conservator first. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

8. Can I touch my artwork?

It's best to minimize handling your artwork. The oils from your fingers can damage the surface over time.

9. Where can be paintings placed?

At home : In living room, dining room or bedrooms.

At commercial establishments: In office, board room, lounge, dining area or any open space.

10. Where can the sculptures be placed?

At home : In the entrance to the house, courtyard,  verandah, living room, pooja room, in the garden.

At commercial establishments: In the entrance area, lounge, board room, cafeteria, in the open areas like pathways, park, near fountains. 

11. Who is the proponent of Gond art?

A young artist by the name Jangarh Singh Shyam from a remote village in Madhya Pradesh who became an icon of Gond painting. His epoch-making work brought the genre to limelight.

 

12. Who popularized the Warli painting?

Jivya Soma Mashe, the native Warli artist who was the first to paint on paper. The paintings of rituals and festivals were made on hut walls by the women folk. Jivya, departing from traditional themes and methods painted and his creations were exhibited in international forums.  

Shipping and Delivery

1. How much does shipping cost?

Shipments for delivery within India is free. Shipping cost for delivery outside India must be borne by the buyer. International shipment costs depend on the destination and the product measurements. We would advise you of the actual cost before shipment.

2. How much time do you take to deliver the product?

Shipments within India: Ordered items (other than customisation) will be shipped within 5-7 business days from the date of order.

International shipments: Ordered items (other than customisation) will be shipped within 7-10 business days from the date of order. Delivery time depends on the destination country. If the shipment is sent through courier it may take up to 7 days to reach the destination. Bulky item like sculpture sent through ship will take more time to reach, depending on the destination.

3. What are your international shipping customs procedures?

For international orders, you may be responsible for any import taxes or duties imposed by your country's customs office. We recommend familiarizing yourself with these fees before placing your order.

4. Where do you ship to?

We ship within India and to international destinations.

5. Can I track my order?

Absolutely! You can do this by our website. under account there is a section called order click on it, here you will find everything about the order you have placed.

6. In the case of return of products, who pays for the shipping charges?

We will pay the shipping charges. However, the product to be returned should be unused, to be repacked in the same package in which it was received.

7. What if I need to change my delivery address after I place my order?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your address. We'll do our best to accommodate your request, but changes may not be possible once your order has shipped.

8. What if I receive the wrong item?

We apologize for any errors. If you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately and we will arrange for the correct artwork to be shipped to you.

Returns and Refunds

1. What if I receive the wrong item?

We apologize for any errors. If you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately and we will arrange for the correct artwork to be shipped to you.

2. What is your return policy?

We want you to be happy with your selection of art! In case you have any valid reasons for return or cancellation,  you may do so.

3. What happens if my artwork arrives damaged?

We take great care to package your artwork securely. However, if your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at your discretion.
